CANDIDATE FILING PERIOD FOR TWO SEATS ON
THE CAMROSA WATER DISTRICT BOARD OF DIRECTORS:
JULY 15 – AUGUST 9, 2024
Potential candidates interested in running for one of the two seats (Divisions 3 & 4) on the Camrosa Board of Directors must file with the Ventura County Elections Division during the nomination period which opens on Monday, July 15th and closes Friday, August 9th at 5pm. All candidates must be registered voters who reside within district boundaries and within the division of the available seat (Division Map). Camrosa Board members oversee policymaking, executive/financial management, and long-range planning of the District.
Board members serve staggered four-year terms, with two terms expiring in one even-numbered year, and three terms expiring the following even-numbered year.
Camrosa Board of Directors Meetings occur on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 5pm.
Currently, Eugene West (Division 3) and Timothy Hoag (Division 4), serve on the two seats to be filled on November 8th. Potential candidates for the two seats up for election can obtain candidate filing forms from the Ventura County Clerk-Recorder.
